The Shenanigans Society is a collective of historical costuming enthusiasts located in and around Minnesota's sprawling Twin Cities. Together, we attend events and coordinate local outings, creating safe opportunities to run around in the old-timey garments which have captured our fascination.

We, the Shenanigang, ascribe to the philosophy of Vintage Style, Not Vintage Values, popularized by Dandy Wellington, which means that our appreciation of the art and utilities of fashion in the periods of time we appear to represent is not reflective of any belief in predjudices that may be associated with those periods.We aspire to be inclusive and respectful of all races, ethnicities, genders, sexualities, neurotypes, disabilities, ages, skill levels, and eras of interest. Ultimately, our goal is to have fun and revel in a shared love of costume history.
